Great place for authentic Arab shawarma and falafel.. the best part is great quality and quantity,unlike other shawarma joints he doesn't use garlic mayo.. they have proper garlic paste.. which makes it delicious.. also try hummus and grill chicken box.. highly recommended.. Best shawarma in Leeds.. Real value for money and taste.. you won't regret this.. specially people from middle east gonna love this..

Tried most of their menu, everything was so tasty and delicious. Definitely I will recommend their shawarma; it was amazing. Guy on the front was nice aswell.

I've tried Akkawi many times now and every time it's delicious. The shawarma and chips are soooo good! Portions big and good prices too. Authentic and beautiful food. Lovely customer service - such kind and hardworking people :)

Top wraps, all made to order and super fresh. Love this place because you can get a falafel and grilled chicken wrap in one, the best!

Updated review based on more visits, salads very good with a much better range of ingredients compared to other local places. Portions a little smaller but prices also a few quid lower so all good. Currently on the way to winning my "best shawarma salad in Leeds" project. Falafel salad recommended, really tasty houmous and falafel have great flavour, even when round and not heart-shaped :) ********** Old Review: Fast and polite service and a nice range of menu items, the falafel and haloumi wrap I had was pleasant enough but a little bit bland / lacking in flavour and didnt have as many components when compared with similar from other local vendors like Falafel Guys. I wasn't asked any questions regarding the fillings so presumably got the representative default menu item. I'd be more than happy to try other items on a return visit but I they wouldn't be my "go to" for a falafel & haloumi wrap in Leeds.

First time trying a schwarma and halloumi wrap - not just saying this but best one weve had in years. Packed with flavour and perfectly balanced. Service with a smile too. Awesome!
